Key highlights for the media include:

  • Ms Siviwe Gwarube, the Minister of Basic Education, will address the conference, outlining the department’s vision and priorities for education.
  • Several high-ranking education officials, including Gauteng MEC for Education Mr Matome Chiloane, as well as the National Department of Education’s Director-General Mr Hubert Mweli and Chief Director Mr James Ndlebe, will be addressing the conference.
